Whitelocks was first licensed in 1715, however the pub has record of been around a lot longer than this date.  The origianl name of the pub was The Turks Head, changed in 18th century to Whitelocks when a family of the same name owned it for a 90 year stretch.

Our Guest ales vary from week to week, we have 5 guests in the Bottom bar. We are of a Cask Marque quality and are also credited by CAMRA.

We also are one of the only pubs around today that serve ale in a handled jug, so why not pop in and try a REAL ALE in a REAL GLASS.
