Bomag BMP8500

The BOMAG BMP 8500 is a radio-controlled multipurpose compactor designed for efficient soil compaction in trenches, sewers, and pipeline construction. Weighing approximately 1.6 tonnes, it delivers excellent compaction results even in difficult conditions.

Equipped with a water-cooled Kubota D1005 diesel engine producing 19.4 horsepower, the BMP 8500 ensures reliable performance and fuel efficiency. Its dual-function remote control allows for both cable and radio operation, enhancing operator safety and flexibility on-site.

The compactor features two selectable amplitudes and a dual directed-vibration system, allowing it to adapt to various soil conditions for optimal compaction. Its Intelligent Vibration Control system automatically adjusts to the soil’s needs, further improving efficiency.

With standard working widths of 610 mm, extendable to 850 mm using bolt-on drum extensions, the BMP 8500 is versatile for different trench sizes. Hydrostatic articulated steering and a maintenance-free design contribute to ease of operation and reduced downtime.
